We aim to make the chaos of childhood cute, comfortable and magical by selling trendy, high-quality clothing, accessories, and toys at an affordable price. Because we know that a child’s favorite outfit can make every day, a GREAT one! This local, women-owned small business located at Liberty Center, aims to be not just both mamas and their kid’s favorite store, but a community in which they feel at home, supported and celebrated.

 

THE RIGHT FIT FOR US:

As a Sales Associate, you bring our brand to life every day! Your goal is to provide everyone who comes in the store with an amazing shopping experience, making their day better than before they came in. You are the face of our company and you're proud of it! You love the products and are passionate about building brand loyalty with every guest. Most of all, you represent our company values and create a great atmosphere that each family wants to keep coming back for again and again! We are looking for someone who is outgoing, independently motivated, and ready to learn and take on a variety of tasks within the business. Must be able to lift boxes up to 40lbs, climb a step ladder, and be extremely comfortable with technology (ipads, bluetooth connection, iphone, amazon alexa)

 

YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES

  • You're a people person! You engage with every guest to help them find exactly what they're looking for and maybe even a few they didn’t know that they were looking for until you show them the cutest outfit they just HAD to have!
  • You're passionate about Pen + Nash and helping our customers! Guests will come to you to educate them on products, help style the perfect look for their family photos, and/or put together an amazing baby shower gift a new mama is sure to love, so having knowledge and passion about the products we carry is a must! But don’t worry if you are not a master of all things baby yet, this is something you’ll quickly learn on the job!
  • You can hang! Because we are a small shop, your day-to-day to’do list might vary each day -- but that is what makes this job so much fun! One day you might be solely focusing on customer service needs, the next day could be receiving new product and stocking the store. Social media is your thing? Let your inner influencer shine by helping create reels & other content. The next day could bring out your inner problem solver & creative skills by creating new displays to showcase the product.
  • You're a team player - #teamwork! You're always willing to assist your team in #gettingthejobdone.
  • You've got integrity! You do the right thing, and you always adhere to Pen + Nash Co's policies & procedures.

 

YOU'D BE GREAT FOR THIS ROLE IF:

  • You love interacting with people!
  • You're full of energy and can handle multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
  • Availability that meets the needs of the business. We are looking to fill our night (3/4pm to 8pm) and weekend shifts.
  • You've worked in retail before. #practicemakesperfect
  • You're at least 18 years of age.
